Some news about the next version of KyPass Companion:

Here is already the change…

• added view password button in ‘Master Password’ form.
• icon of groups are editable.
• shortcut ⌘L to lock database
• added entry count near the group
• new powerful filter
• resizable sidebar.
• (bug fix) key file settings is now supported when using ‘save password in keychain’
• (bug fix) fixed auto-lock when it’s disabled.
• (bug fix) fix keepasshttp & quick list bug when ‘save password in keychain’ is checked.
• (bug fix) fix second-level domains like .ac.uk, .co.uk, …

I’ve still some things to fix and I hope to release it in a few days.

KyPass Companion v1.2 is now available on the app Store.

The main changes are:
– added auto-lock & clipboard security.
– change the quick open shortcut
– added settings for the Chrome/Firefox extension password generator
– delete entry/group to recycled Bin
– some bug fixes.

Be careful with auto-lock: once the database is locked, you couldn’t access your datas until you have unlocked your database. Thus, the chrome & firefox extension couldn’t access your datas also.

Currently, the changes are:

• added auto-lock & clipboard security.
• change the quick open shortcut
• added settings for the Chrome/Firefox extension password generator
• some bug fixes

And I’m currently working on the delete & move entries function.

I would like to add another thing. I have some idea but what are you waiting next ?

• tools/update icon entries from url.
• (bug fixe) ssh:// url are now working (fixed a sandbox issue)
• (bug fixe) sorted column when changing folder is working now.
• remove safari plugin support (security flaw)
