So they advertise that it will sync with a file on iCloud but it really won’t? I am starting to not feeling good about this purchase. How does one use this with iCloud?
I had this issue as well to start with but its now working fine. Thinking back, it started syncing properly when I added in OneDrive as another cloud provider....
Remember that you can always manually force a sync by starting at the home screen showing your databases then clicking the small cloud button in the bottom right of the screen. Scroll down to advanced then activate the 'Reset synchronisation' That will force a sync. It's almost instant and is a reasonable workaround (did this for a week or two myself) I know its not ideal but I decided that the pain was worth it as it was so much better (and quicker) than the previous apps I used.
I'm hoping they get it together and produce a good comprehensive user manual for the app and it's osx version. I'm starting to figure the application out and how the programmers mind works. I managed to get everything updating/syncing on 2 Iphones and 3 computers. Took a lot of time on this and other sites figuring it out
Took me almost half a day and finally did it with Dropbox.
When I tried Icloud the button kept turning off so I went to Dropbox.
KyPass for Mac (or iOS) has not created the folder Kypass on my iCloud Drive. I created a new file on the Mac and while saving it, I created a KyPass folder in the top of the iCloud Drive. However, that new file is not visible in the KyPass iOS app.
I also tried on the iOS to Reset Synchronization, but that did not fix them problem.
I've got the same situation. Hope someone helps us with an answer soon. I had everything in sync but with Dropbox, now Dropbox changed it's policy and won't let you sync with more than 3 devices (we have 5). I don't like paying for subscriptions so I'm back to square one and Icloud.
I have the same problem, but have an additional question. I use Keypass on my iMac OS. I've used Dropbox for a few years which syncs fine when I have my .kdb file in Dropbox. I also don't want to use Dropbox anymore since they charge a $$ subscription for >3 devices.
I copied my .kdb to the iCloud Drive on my iMac OS, and then enabled the "Use iCloud" switch on kypass on my iPhone. It doesn't sync with my .kdb file on my iMac OS. As others noted, there's no kypass folder in my iCloud drive. Also tried Reset Synchronization. So I've been back to using Dropbox.
