One thing many times it is not opening my only kdbx file automatically after a correct autosuggest? So i click on the proposed autosuggest it opens Kypass with face id but then i have to manually select the only kdbx file there is. Forgot to mention, the file is in iCloud.
Can you show us a screenshot of the situation.
The problem is that only safari is allowed to use more than one URL to search.
All other apps can only ask their url.
Example:
Amazon app can ask for its password with amazon.com
Where this is kind of tweaky is with alternative browsers. Eg. ICab. If you surf a page iCab can not ask for the password of that page, it can only ask for the iCab website password.
It’s a builtin security feature.

In the newest release go to settings and AutoFill and enable the cache.
This will copy username + URL to a Secure Cache on the device so the device knows when to call the kdbx.
You can also enable two more things:
- Show database name behind username, makes sense if you have more databases.
- copy OTP into clipboard: will copy the otp of an entry to clipboard if you use the autofill.
Helps with eg. Amazon Second factor.
When you login it will autofill the user and password. On the next screen where you have to enter the One Time Password you can paste. Be aware that the time between these steps should not be too long as OTPs expire.

Hello!
I was about to post a suggestion but after finding and enabling this feature on my device, my suggestion is less relevent... Here it is anyway, it is a small fix to a recurrent issue It may help some other people

When using autofill (without the autofill-suggestions feature which is great), the full domain is used by KyPass to search for the matching password entry. I would like KyPass to search for the domain only (and not the FQDN).

Why?
Often, there is more than 1 URL for user login on a site. For example, a site may have 1 URL for login from a Desktop computer, 1 URL for mobile devices. Eg: www.amazon.com from a Desktop PC, mobile.amazon.com from a mobile. If www.amazon.com is stored in password entry, KyPass don't find it. I need to delete part of FQDN

And about this topic, according to me, the Quicktype autofill-suggestion feature need more explanations / highlight in the Kypass app.

Thanks for reading me!

Keep up the great work! ;)
