Bad news

Post by RedBug » Wed Oct 03, 2018 10:00 am

Last release of KyPass for macOS has been rejected by Apple. This version had to fix the bug with macOS version before Mojave but the App Store Review team think that a bug is still present. In the meantime, you can: To avoid that in the future, we search for beta-testers. PM me on the forum if you want to improve KyPass.
If you don’t want to be beta-tester, you could send your suggestion too on the suggestions sub-forum Sorry again… The post Bad news appeared first on Kyuran.

The beta version does not work either anymore on Mac. If one tries to open a kdbx-file, nothing happens; software does not start. Sad, I need it urgently.

Hi,
will you be trying again - i.e. submitting another fix to apple?
I ask because I have a few Macs I still use that can't be upgraded to Mojave (including my daily machine); and sadly I applied the 1.9.3 update - so I'm stuck
I hope you can help

I have macos high sierra v10.13.6 and had same issue. I did the downgrade by simply replacing the KyPass.app file in the program folder with "time machine". I am now back to version 1.9.2 (3910) and it works fine. Thanks for the hint with the backup. I thought about it, but was not sure how to do it. But with macos it seems to be quite simple to restore apps. ;)

On Mojave ? The problem doesn't exist with this OS. Just with the version before.

I run High Sierra, and according to the app store, I installed 1.9.4. I am since today unable to open Kypass properly. I can open it and see the icon in dock, and I see the menu on top - but opening a kdbx file does nothing. Interestingly the 'about kypass' says I still run 1.9.3
